Blue-striped Nettle Grub (Parasa lepida, 丽绿刺蛾).
A mating pair, hiding near Yuelu Mountain. The existence of an English name for this species, as in the case of many species of moths and butterflies, indicates that it is can be found in India, where English entomology has a long history. Of all the local parasa moths I find these to be the most widely distributed, presumably because their cate pillars will indiscriminately eat almost any leaves they can find.
